Think your local library is just a place to check out books? Think again! Whether you live in King or Pierce County, your local library is a haven for free classes, free books, and free entertainment.

Free Admission to Museums
Looking for a fun, educational, and interactive place to take in some art and culture? These are just a few of the museums in Pierce and King County that offer free admission every month:

In Tacoma:

In Seattle:

  • Seattle Art Museum- free every first Thursday of the month
  • Seattle Asian Art Museum- free for everyone the first Thursday of the month, and free to families the first Saturday of every month
  • Wing Luke Asian Museum- free every first Thursday and third Saturday of the month
  • Fry Art Museum- ALWAYS free, and free parking!
  • 1T Art Walk- free every first Thursday of the month in Pioneer Square; participating museums and galleries are free from 12pm-8pm
