REACH Plus (Reaching Employability & Achieving Career Habits)
is a program designed to help participants be competitive in
the job market and successful in a new career. The computer
applications section of the program helps participants to gain
the technical skills needed to be successful in today's
business world. Participants may also receive up to two years
of follow-up, emergency funds, job search assistance,
employment retention and transition services and the
opportunity to participate in a work experience internship.

Individuals in the Community Jobs (CJ) Program participate in
a paid internship where they gain valuable work experience
and are able to access support services and training
opportunities. Staff at WWEE have established collaborative
relationships with many local employers, offering CJ interns
a wide variety of positions and worksites. Participation in
the CJ program qualifies participating individuals for the
advanced Earned Income Tax Credit.
To be eligible for the CJ program, you must be a current TANF
recipient. For more information contact WWEE at (253) 474-9933,
or your current DSHS case manager. This program is available through the Pierce County WWEE program only.

Housing Bridge to Self-Sufficiency (HBSS) is a joint project
of the Martin Luther King Housing Development Association
and WWEE. The objective of HBSS is to reduce the dependency
of low-income, homeless (or near homeless) families, and
provide them with Section 8 Rental Assistance and help them
